Elite 2025 EDGE Javion Hilson decommits from Florida State

Cocoa (Fla.) four-star EDGE Javion Hilson has decommitted from Florida State, he announced on Sunday evening.

Hilson had previously been committed to the Seminoles since January.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to decommit from Florida State and reopen my recruitment,” he wrote on Twitter. “I will be making my final decision in December. Thank you to everyone at FSU for their support.”

The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is the No. 37 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 2 EDGE and the No. 7 recruit in the Sunshine State.
