Gamecock Park revealed as location for ESPN’s College GameDay
Gamecock Park will serve as ESPN’s host cite for College GameDay, the South Carolina football team announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday.
The flagship college football program is returning to Columbia, South Carolina, for the first time in 10 years when the Gamecocks host LSU at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The show will run from 9 a.m. to noon and be broadcast on ESPN. The game will follow at noon and be broadcast nationally on ABC.

South Carolina heads into the Week 3 contest against the Tigers with a 2-0 overall record, including a 1-0 mark in SEC play. The Gamecocks narrowly defeated Old Dominion in their season opener before upsetting Kentucky 31-6 at Kroger Field on Saturday.
Meanwhile, LSU will arrive in Columbia with a 1-1 overall record ahead of its first conference contest of the season. The Tigers fell to then-No. 23 USC in Week 1 before beating Nicholls State the following week.
Columbia has previously been the host of College GameDay seven times. The show’s last appearance in the city came in 2014, when South Carolina hosted Missouri.
Host Rece Davis is at the helm of College GameDay for his 10th season. He will be joined at the desk by GameDay analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Michigan legend and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and former Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
