Ole Miss OL Jeremy James to miss time due to hand injury
Ole Miss offensive lineman Jeremy James is set to miss time with a hand injury, On3’s Pete Nakos reported. He suffered the injury in the Rebels’ Week 1 matchup against Furman.
James made his 50th consecutive start in that resounding 76-0 victory, which tied the Ole Miss career record. It’s unclear how much time he will miss with his injury as the Rebels get ready to take on Middle Tennessee this week, but the sense is it’s not a season-ending injury.
James has been a stalwart on the Ole Miss offensive line since arriving on campus in 2020. He was a FWAA Freshman All-American that season and has played a key role in protecting Jaxson Dart over the last few seasons.
