The No. 5-ranked Fighting Irish take the field at Notre Dame Stadium for the first time this season on Saturday when they face Northern Illinois of the Mid-American Conference at 3:30 p.m. Notre Dame is 10-0  all time against MAC opponents.

Answer: A. The Fighting Irish are 3-0 against the Broncos, winning 53-0 in 1919, 41-0 in 1920 and 44-20 in 2010. The Irish are also 2-0 versus Miami (Ohio), and 1-0 against Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Toledo. This year’s meeting will be the first ever for Notre Dame and Northern Illinois.
