New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett leaves game with shoulder injury
New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett left their preseason game on Sunday evening against the Washington Commanders early. He was knocked out of the game in the first half, after KJ Henry came completely clean off the edge and drilled him to the ground on a tackle. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said on Twitter that New England said Brissett has a right shoulder injury.
NBC’s Melissa Stark added to that information late in the second quarter, saying that the Patriots quarterback has been ruled as “officially questionable” to return to the game. Since it’s the preseason, there’s very little chance we see Brissett back in the game.
