LSU OL/DL Camp: Offensive Line Standouts

Here is a closer look at some of the standouts on the offensive line at LSU’s OL/DL Camp on Friday, June 2 in Baton Rouge.
Ziron Brown (2024) – Mississippi (Bay High)
Brown is up to 14 college offers, including an SEC scholarship from Missouri. After camp stops at Mississippi State and LSU to kick off the month of June, he’s firmly on the radar for college teams. Brown had a solid showing at Friday’s LSU camp, and the Tigers are now set to dive even deeper into the evaluation process and recruitment of the Mississippi product. He’s a name to keep an eye on moving forward. An offer could still come before his recruitment comes to an end.
William Sanders (2024) – Alabama (Brookwood)
Sanders battled through a hamstring injury to compete alongside the top offensive linemen in attendance, and he’s certainly a name LSU will monitor as he moves through the summer months ahead of his senior season. An Alabama offer on Thursday was his biggest to date, which followed up scholarships from both Ole Miss and Cincinnati earlier this offseason.
Brett Bordelon (2025) – Louisiana (Newman)
Bordelon was one of the most impressive offensive linemen in attendance, and he’s on track to sign with LSU after committing to the Tigers early in his process. Bordelon has the ability to play multiple spots on the offensive line, and he even transitioned over to the defensive line for a couple of reps (both wins) on Friday. Once he arrives in Baton Rouge, expect Bordelon to work with the interior offensive linemen.
Darius Afalava (2025) – Utah (Skyridge)
Afalava had one of the better showings among the offensive linemen in attendance, and it paid off with an offer from the LSU staff. The Utah native is ranked by On3 as a Top 25 offensive tackle prospect from the crop of sophomores in the 2025 class. Afalava entered the day with eight scholarship offers – all from West Coast schools like Oregon, Utah, Washington and others. By the time his camp showing ended in Baton Rouge, offers were in from not just LSU, but also Baylor.
Jaylan Beckley (2025) – Texas (Trinity Christian Academy)
Beckley was already on LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis’ watch list after he made the trip to Trinity to check in on the sophomore this offseason. Davis invited Beckley in for Friday’s first camp session of the summer, and he answered with a strong enough showing to earn an offer from the Tigers. Offers were already in from Mississippi State, Duke, Houston and Memphis, but it’s clear the scholarship from LSU made a big splash with the Lone Star State native.
Jalan Chapman (2026) – Louisiana (Warren Easton)
Chapman became offensive line offer No. 3 for LSU in the 2026 class, with area recruiter Frank Wilson delivering the good news following Chapman’s showing at camp. Chapman won a starting offensive tackle job at Warren Easton as a freshman this past season, and now offers are in from not just Troy and Arkansas, but LSU. Expect the Tigers to be the team to beat out of the gates as college coaches begin to recruit the 2026 class.
Brysten Martinez (2026) – Louisiana (East Ascension)
Martinez has been creating buzz around the Baton Rouge area over the past six months thanks to his freshman year on the offensive line at East Ascension. The 6-foot-6 prospect worked with the top group on the offensive line and showed clear promise – and a frame that will allow him to continue to grow into a college-ready offensive tackle. Florida State and Texas Tech offers are in, and many more will come over his final three years at East Ascension.
