Report: Creed Humphrey agrees to new deal with Chiefs, becomes highest-paid center in NFL history

Creed Humphrey has agreed to a four-year extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to multiple reports. It will make him the highest-paid center in NFL history.

Humphrey’s new deal will be worth $72 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported, and will include $50 million in guaranteed money. It’s a huge contract for the former Oklahoma star, who cemented himself as a stalwart on the Chiefs offensive line.

Humphrey was second team All-Pro last season as he helped Kansas City to its second straight Super Bowl victory. He has also made two Pro Bowls to start his career and it resulted in a lucrative extension to stay with the Chiefs for the long haul.
