Five Most Likely to Commit to Oregon – 2026 Offense
Well I guess this is where we are with recruiting overall and at Oregon specifically. The Ducks are off and running strong with its 2026 class. Much earlier than I anticipated. But that seems to be the new norm in recruiting. The timeline continues to move up and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Oregon has landed five verbal commits in the 2026 class leading them to a No. 1 ranked class with On3. And 4 of those commitments took place in less than a month. So while I wouldn’t normally write this kind of article this early it’s clear I need to.
Keep in mind these are not official predictions. I have no idea if any or all of the names below will make a commitment anytime soon. But it’s clear that’s not impossible. These are some names the Ducks appear to be in good standing with early on. There’ some others ranked inside the top ten Oregon is in the running for too. But I had a tough time listing any of them at this time. The ones below feel likely for Oregon given this very early timeframe.
Enough about that, here are my top five most likely to commit in the 2026 recruiting class on the offensive side of the ball.
Four-Star TE Brock Harris
On3 Industry Ranking: 35 (93.49)
Harris has been on Oregon’s campus a few times already. He is one of those guys it’s clear Oregon has prioritized early in this cycle. And with great reason. He’s really good and he fits a major position of need. Harris is also from the state of Utah where Oregon has had a lot of recruiting success. I don’t know that he’ll commit early but I do think Oregon is, at worst, among his early top three.
Four-Star IOL Tommy Tofi
On3 Industry Ranking: 143 (91.13)
Right down the road in Sacramento, Tofi has mentioned Oregon pretty early and often. He’s been on campus already and as we can see, distance is on Oregon’s side. At this point with Kodi Greene committed, Oregon can be slightly selective moving forward. I still expect this to be a bigger OL class but the emphasis will likely be on tackles.
Four-Star WR Vance Spafford
On3 Industry Ranking: 146 (91.10)
Spafford has been on Oregon’s campus and was one of the earlier offers for the Ducks. He’s down in California which is one of Oregon’s strongest recruiting areas. While Spafford has collected some other major offers, I do think this is one Oregon has prioritized early enough to get on that short list. As stated above I have no idea that he will be an early commitment, but I think Oregon is in a great spot early on.
Four-Star RB Kaydin Jones
On3 Industry Ranking: 173 (90.72)
This one could get a little tricky. Only in the fact that Oregon has a few higher ranked running backs interested as well. With Tradarian Ball committed, the Ducks can be selective moving forward. The reason I list Jones is he visited for SNL and coming out of the visit he told me he talked with Ball about playing together at Oregon just after Ball had committed. So at the very least, that is on the table early in the cycle.
Four-Star WR Madden Williams
On3 Industry Rankings: 262 (88.80)
Williams came out of a late Spring visit to Oregon talking openly about the Ducks as one of his top two schools. He’s also at St. John Bosco with recent Oregon commit Dutch Horisk. So that could certainly help the Ducks as well. The real question will be if Oregon has room and values Williams over other receivers. I don’t think Oregon will have room to take 4 or 5 receivers in 2026 and if they can close on Spafford early on they might hold off on Williams. But for now, Oregon is among his top two early schools so he makes sense to be on this list.
