Kenneth Merrieweather excited for opportunity

After redshirting last season to put on weight and get stronger, opportunity could be knocking for Kenneth Merrieweather. The redshirt freshman defensive end has draw comparisons to Chauncey Golston because of his frame and build and those are pretty valid looking at him on media day.

The Detroit area native talks about his level of excitement being raised since he has seen his name on the depth chart, meaning he has a chance to play this year. He also discusses the players that have helped him and mentored him since arriving in Iowa City.
