4-star small forward Isaiah Sealy takes midweek visit to Ole Miss

Springdale (Ark.) small forward Isaiah Sealy took a midweek visit to Ole Miss Monday. The four-star prospect is high on the Rebels’ board and could be down to the in-state Razorbacks and Rebels.

Sealy is the 60th overall prospect, per On3’s Industry Ranking. He is ranked as the No. 15 small forward in the country as well as Arkansas’ No. 1 overall senior. So far, he has taken early trips to Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas. The new staff in Fayetteville have made him a priority, being the top-ranked recruit in the state.

But, Ole Miss and Chris Beard plan on making it difficult for John Calipari and Co.

As a sophomore, Isaiah Sealy led Springdale to the 6A state title game.

That season, he averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in league play. The 6-foot-7 prospect is one who will attack you from all areas of the floor. He can slash through the lane and get to the rim while also being comfortable hanging back on the wing or beyond the arc and serving buckets.

“I just want to have — if I have a good relationship with them I know everything’s going to be fine — but a good campus and all of that,” Sealy told ZagsBlog. “Mostly just coaching staff though.”

Sealy is “probably” taking a visit to Texas next and will narrow his list down to seven schools this month. Oklahoma and Arkansas will be major factors moving forward, per a source.
