Quote of the Pod

Austin Price on the Tennessee recruiting weekend with Amari Jefferson and Sammy Brown….

“They really did [move the needle] when you look at what they were able to get done. I thought across the board it was kind of a moving weekend. They moved even, I think, with Alabama and Georgia for Amari Jefferson. To me, that gives Tennessee the inside track going into official visits. I think they are someone who has made Amari feel like he is a real priority. I’m not sure that was necessarily the case five months ago, but I think that’s definitely the case now. I think Tennessee is going hard there. Sammy Brown takes his official visit and his quote was that Tennessee set the bar high for the rest of the official visits. I would still lean Georgia, btu I think Tennessee has a legitimate shot here to make some noise if he is going to leave the state of Georgia. I think Clemson has taken a little bit of a tumble and I think Tennessee has really positioned themselves to be the main competition for the Bulldogs with the next month full of official visits going down the stretch.
