Elite 2025 USC safety commit Anquon Fegans to visit USC next week

Elite 2025 USC safety commit Anquon Fegans to visit USC next week

One of the top ranked defensive backs in the 2025 class, Anquon Fegans, committed to USC earlier this month.

His commitment came just after his older brother, Tre’quon Fegans, announced he was transferring to USC.

Fegans tells me he will be making his first visit to USC “this upcoming week for the weekend up until Monday”. He will be in Los Angeles for the weekend as well as the following Monday, spending time with the coaching staff but also with his brother and family.

Fegans is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Alabama.

It is rare a player commits before taking a visit to school but because this was a family affair, it was easy for Fegans to do so. Now, he will get to see everything for himself. Being on campus will help strengthen relationships and allow Fegans to see the vision for him first hand.

Being on campus will also be important for the recruiting efforts of Fegans. He tells me has a group of prospects he is personally working on recruiting. I asked him if he was working on just defensive backs or other positions as well.

He replied “All of the above.”

So it seems Anquon is making it a priority for himself to help build the Trojans 2025 class. It is also likely he will be in the ears of some of the official visitors that will be on campus at the same time this upcoming weekend.

Only USC commitment in 2025

Fegans, 6-foot, 190 pounds, was the first the commitment in the class of 2025 for the Trojans.

In his recruitment, Fegans holds 20 total offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina, Arkansas, Michigan, Oregon, Jackson State, Colorado, Auburn, Marshall, Florida State and Arizona.

Prior to his commitment to USC, Alabama was considered the favorite to land his commitment. After Tre’Quon entered the transfer portal, the odds of Anquon ending up at Alabama dimmed. USC took advantage and now will have both brothers in the secondary for the future.

On3 NIL Valuation for Fegans

Fegans currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $150K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
