4-star WR Cederian Morgan visits Auburn’s Big Cat: ‘They made me feel like I was home’

Class of 2026 four-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan visited Auburn on Saturday for the Tigers’ Big Cat recruiting event.

Morgan, who attends Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Ala., was one of several top recruits in Auburn.

“It was a great experience,” he said. “I had a lot of fun. They made me feel like I was at home. I just enjoyed the players and the coaching staff. 

“I got a chance to get closer with all of the players and coaches. They just made me feel like I was home. It would be a good place for me to be.”

Familiar faces at Auburn for Morgan

Morgan hung out with the recruits, as well as the coaches. He also spent time with former teammate and current Auburn freshman wideout Malcolm Simmons. The two remain close friends.

“It’s very important (Simmons is at Auburn),” he said. “I want to go somewhere where I know the people. We’re cool and locked in, but with Malcolm we’ve always bonded. It would be like another home, basically. “

Morgan said he is heavily considering Auburn, as well as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, Oregon and Missouri. He does not plan to make an early decision, but knows what he’ll be looking for when he does.

“Just communication,” he said. “I’ll be around them a lot, so be around a good crowd as far as the scheme fit and coaching, but mainly communication. Just keeping in touch with me.

“(I’ll make a commitment) the fall or the spring. I know for sure by next spring.”
