Report: DeMar DeRozan to sign with Sacramento Kings in sign-and-trade including Harrison Barnes

According to Sham Charania, DeMar DeRozan is finalizing a deal to play with the Sacramento Kings. DeRozan is a huge pickup for the franchise out of free agency, helping them compete in a loaded NBA Western Conference.

“BREAKING: Six-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan is finalizing a deal to sign with the Sacramento Kings, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium,” Charania said via X.

Moments later, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski had the full terms of the deal, one that required a sign-and-trade to get over the line. Three teams are included and multiple players are involved.

DeRozan will be heading to Sacramento, while Harrison Barnes is heading back to the Lone Star State but with the San Antonio Spurs. Chicago will get a player in return as well, Chris Duarte, but will also receive two second-round picks and some cash.
