Georgia offer strikes a chord with 2026 OT Brandon Anderson: ‘Oh ****’

Georgia offer strikes a chord with 2026 OT Brandon Anderson: ‘Oh ****’

At 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, rising junior offensive tackle Brandon Anderson has watched interest from top level programs explode over the course of this spring, with a who’s who jumping into the fray for his services.

“My recruitment has been going really good. I have been picking up offers from Bama, LSU, Tennessee, UCF, NC State, UGA, and others,” Anderson said. “I’ve been hearing a lot from Matt Luke lately. The trip to Clemson stood out to me. I never thought Clemson would ever look that big and nice.”

While the Tigers may have made a mark, the in-state Bulldogs seemed to have caught his eye, as well, and Anderson earned his offer from the Dawgs without even breaking a sweat.

“My experience at Georgia was really good. I got to have a conversation with the head coach for a couple of minutes, and I couldn’t camp due to a messed up ankle,” he said. “I was just spending time watching Coach [Stacy] Searels at camp. Talking to Coach Searels was good. He was like the offensive line coach ay my school. He gave me really good pointers for stuff I didn’t already know.”

And the North Cobb product said his inner circle received the news in very surprised fashion.

“It was good,” Anderson said. “My family was shocked. They were like, ‘Oh shit!’”

A big reason for that reaction? That stems from what the Dawgs have been able to produce from their ranks.

“The difference from Georgia and any other schools I have been to is that they send everybody to the league, and the head coach won’t lie to you,” Anderson said. “He will keep it 100 with you.”

So, what do the Dawgs need to do to stay in the race?

“They just need to show me they’re interested in me,” Anderson said. “Right now, I don’t have any early standouts. Clemson is an impact maker, though.”

As he’s taking his time, he’ll continue evaluating all his options ahead of the season.

“I’m looking for relationships, a good education, and team bonding,” Anderson said. “I’m planning for UCF, Clemson, and getting back to Georgia this summer.”

Brandon Anderson hails from Kennesaw, Georgia.
