Penn State projected scholarship chart: Where the Lions stand after addition of Audavion Collins

Penn State projected scholarship chart: Where the Lions stand after addition of Audavion Collins

Penn State football added another scholarship player on Tuesday when the Lions landed cornerback Audavion Collins. The Georgia native and Class of 2022 three-star recruit did not see any game action during his one season at Mississippi State. He suited up for the highly successful Covington, Ga., Newton High. There, he had 62 tackles (five for loss), 19 pass breakups, an interception, and also some punt return work as a senior.

The Lions do not release an official scholarship chart. Blue-White Illustrated’s unofficial counter has head coach James Franklin’s program at 88 scholarship players, however, after Collins committed to the team. The NCAA limit is 85, of course, which means a few players will need to move on before the 2023 season begins.

Here’s how the position-by-position chart breaks down as of May 17.
