Alabama commit Myles Johnson has made it to Ole Miss for his official visit
Tr Miller Sch (Ala.) linebacker Myles Johnson just wrapped up a visit to Florida. This weekend, he’s at Ole Miss for a second official visit. The three-star Alabama commit is trying out other programs after the new staff arrived in Tuscaloosa.
He spoke with On3’s Corey Bender about the trip to Gainesville.
“It was great, man,” Johnson told Gators Online. “In January, I came for Junior Day. It was a little bit of what I saw here. What I seen this weekend was amazing. The people are just amazing here. They welcome me. I got to go a little bit more in depth of what it’s like to be at the University of Florida., so it was a great experience.”
Bender has since entered a flip RPM pick for Johnson to end up in Billy Napier’s 2025 class. Sources say the new staff hasn’t re-recruited him and now he is scoping out his options.

One of Myles Johnson’s options is Ole Miss. He will get a closer look this weekend.
He previously made his way to Oxford and connected with Lane Kiffin and Pete Golding. Johnson has made it very clear he is absolutely looking elsewhere.
“Verbally I am committed,” said Johnson. “I haven’t de-committed yet, but like I said, the new staff hasn’t been committed to me as much as I would like them to.
“I’ll go visit Ole Miss and I guess we’ll see you next week where Ole Miss compares to Florida, but the bar is set pretty high.”
Johnson scored seven touchdowns as a running back in 2023. On the track, he ran a 11.15 100M just a few months removed from ACL surgery.
