Who could be Auburn’s next commit?

Who could be Auburn’s next commit?

A list of candidates to be Auburn’s next commitment–both for the 2025 and 2026 classes. As always, we have ordered these names from most likely to be next to least likely. Either way, if they made this list, we are keeping heavy tabs on them and a decision could happen in the near future.

**We think there are several more Auburn targets who could have decisions before the summer is over.. These either have a date set or just seem to be the most imminent for now.

S – Eric Winters, Enterprise (Ala.)

Winters, at one time, considered an April decision, then a May decision. Now, it is June and we think he is close, and it’s the real deal this time. Winters just officially visited Georgia and is currently at Auburn for his official visit. Right now, our arrow is pointing more toward Auburn than it has in several months. Could something happen as soon as this weekend? Probably cannot rule it out. He has been unpredictable, though.

Edge – Herbert ‘Third’ Scroggins, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine

Scroggins is another we are on high alert with. He was planning an official visit to Auburn in the fall. However, a few other schools such as Miami, Tennessee, and especially North Carolina were moving into the picture. It would make sense that Auburn felt it was best to bring him in this weekend and see if it can get him in the class sooner than later. Scroggins is a top priority for the Tigers. There is no timeline or set date for a commitment, but if things go well this weekend, watch out.

Edge – Hezekiah Harris, Huntsville (Ala.) Jemison

We have had a pick on Harris for a while now. Harris has gone as far to say Auburn was No. 1 on his list at one point. We think the Tigers are sitting pretty here and could earn his commitment before too long. Again, there is no set date or timeline, but he is one to keep tabs on right now.

CB – Blake Woodby, Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances

Woodby seems fairly imminent given what transpired in the last week. A return trip to Auburn from Maryland after officially visiting the previous week. He and his teammate (now Auburn commit Bryce Deas) both made the trip to camp. With his teammate in the boat, his relationship with Auburn’s coaches, and the recent draw to Auburn in general, this one seems pretty cut and dry.

OL – Jacobe Ward, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine

Ward has been one of the best recruitments to cover; He leaves nothing to the imagination. Ward has called Auburn his leader since his March visit and continues to hold strong with that. He has a big visit to LSU on the horizon, but said it would be tough to knock Auburn off the top spot. He will make his commitment on July 4.

LB – Shadarius Toodle, Mobile (Ala.) Cottage Hill

Toodle is one we have not talked about too much, but we need to. He released a top ten on Friday that included Auburn and several other top schools around the country. A commitment is set for July 4. We believe Auburn would love to add him to the 2026 class and might be a strong candidate to do so.

QB – Julian Lewis, Carrollton (Ga.)

Lewis is currently on his official visit to Auburn and will take his Colorado visit next weekend. After that, it might be time to make a final decision on his future. He told Auburn Live that he would love to have a final decision made before he gets to his senior season. July seems like a logical timeframe to get it figured out.

LB – JaMichael Garrett, Gulf Shores (Ala.)

Garrett had a commitment date set for June 19, but has since changed that timeline to “late July.” Garrett is expected to be at Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend in late July. We have had a pick in for Auburn to land Garrett for a few months now and this lines up nicely.

S – Anquon Fegans, Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson

Fegans has his date set for July 29. Again, Fegans is expected to be at Big Cat two days prior to his commitment date. That lines up nicely. We have also had a pick in for Fegans.
