2026 4-star IOL Max Riley recaps Alabama and Clemson visits
Avon Lake (Ohio) four-star offensive lineman Max Riley visited Clemson on Tuesday, then Alabama on Wednesday and Thursday this week. He has visited Tuscaloosa three times now and the Crimson Tide look to be on Riley’s list to stay.
“I really love what they are doing at Alabama,” Riley told On3. “I am very interested in them and they are towards the top of my list at the moment.
“I camped at Alabama last summer, I visited in the spring and the highlights of my two-day visit this time were meeting with coach Kalen DeBoer, working out with coach Kap (Chris Kapilovic) and the weight room presentation by strength and conditioning coach Rick Danison.”
Before making it back to Alabama, Riley spent time at Clemson. He saw some differences and similarities in the two programs, and like Alabama, Riley’s interest in Clemson is high.
“I have visited Clemson four times now and I really enjoyed this visit. Clemson is another one of my top schools right now,” Riley said. “I like how they do things. They do things a bit different than other schools, but it seems to have worked for them in coach Dabo Swinney‘s tenure.
“On this visit, I liked getting to break down film with coach Matt Luke and coach Carson Cramer. Another highlight was talking with Blake Miller and Peter Woods. Watching the 4th quarter video in the stadium was nice too.”
The No. 57 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking is planning to visit Oklahoma on June 21, then he is eyeing a trip to Missouri the last week of Missouri. Before his junior season kicks off, Riley is looking to narrow his list down to somewhere between 5-8 schools.
