Michigan State to host 2025 Tennessee cornerback on official visit
Michigan State will host class of 2025 defensive back Vanzale Hinton, of Paducah (KY) Tilghman High School, for an official visit over the weekend of June 21. Hinton (6-1, 170) was offered by secondary coach Blue Adams during the Wayne State National College Showcase back in late May.
Hinton is committed to Vanderbilt, as he committed to the Commodores in April of 2024. The defensive backs holds other offers from Tennessee, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Purdue, and others.
The defensive back tells SpartanMag.com he has built a strong relationship with Adams since receiving the Michigan State offer in late May. He will also take official visits to Vanderbilt (June 14) and visited Memphis last weekend.
“I am looking for a great group of coaches (that are) looking to develop athletes like myself to make it to the next level,” Hinton told SpartanMag on the Michigan State official visit. “Also, want to see the new (Michigan State) facilities.”
“Coach Blue and I have gotten very close. We have been talking a lot since the offer. (Adams) is a good family guy. He keeps it real and he connected with my family real quick also.”
Hinton is ranked a three-star, the No. 821 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 75 cornerback and the No. 7 recruit in Kentucky.
Michigan State welcome California cornerback LaRue Zamornao for an official visit on May 31. Four-star Indiana defensive back commit Chris McCorkle will be on campus this upcoming weekend (June 14) for an official visit as well.
California defensive back Joshua Tuchek, along with Georgia safety Gerritt Kemp and Florida defensive back George Mullins will all visit on June 21. The Spartans currently hold seven commitments in the 2025 recruiting class, but none at either of the defensive back positions.
