Preview: Oregon Set to Host Four-Star SAF Omarion Robinson

One of the less talked about safeties Oregon is pouring a lot of recruiting effort into is Parkview Magnet (Ark.) star Omarion Robinson. The 6-foot, 170-pounder is the No. 320 ranked player in the country and the No. 29 ranked safety per the On3 Industry Rankings.

Robinson will be one of the several big defensive back targets on campus at Oregon this weekend for an official visit. It is not his first time stepping foot on Oregon’s campus however. He was on campus about a year ago and once again in February.

Good news for Oregon is they won’t be hosting him alone.

“My mom and my uncle are coming with me to Oregon,” Robinson told ScoopDuck.

Since he’s been to Oregon before, here is a bit of what he’s looking forward to with this visit.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the great coaching staff and what they have in store for me as a man and a player. Also how I can get development and how they would utilize me in the defense.”

Currently Oklahoma leads the On3 RPM for Robinson. With Arkansas sitting in second place. However he recently told On3’s Chad Simmons Arkansas currently has the edge in his recruitment.

The four-star will follow up his official visit to Oregon with one at Oklahoma on June 21.
