Roll call of Purdue football official visitors for June 14-16

Purdue is set to play host to eight 2025 recruits for OVs this weekend. There will be a quarterback (Sawyer Anderson), two offensive linemen (Jackson Jones, Kuol Kuol), two receivers (JonAnthony Hall, Lebron Hill), two defensive linemen (Tony Carter, Caleb Smith) and a rush end (Jayden Woods). Of those, just two are in-state prospects: Hall and Hill.
Defensive lineman Derrick Simmons will be here mid-week, June 17-20.
This is an interesting group. One of the visitors already has committed: Anderson. Another has committed to another school: Hill to Louisville. Purdue was thought to be the favorite for Hill, a native of Hammond, Ind. The fact he’s still coming to visit has to be a good sign for the Boilermaker staff. Can Hill be flipped?
Hall recently received an offer from Notre Dame, making him a more difficult “get.” Purdue felt pretty good about Hall–from Fishers–before the Irish offer. Now?
Kuol Kuol just locked in his official visit this week after earning an offer at a Prospects Camp last week. He’s one to watch. Jones is a large blocker (6-6, 280).
Perhaps none of this weekend’s visitors is more touted than Woods of suburban Kansas City. He has offers from Penn State, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Nebraska, Iowa and Oklahoma, among others. Woods is coming off an OV to Penn State. He took an OV to Wisconsin the week before and has Tennessee on his docket. Woods’ father, Justin, was a cornerback at Kansas State. Woods is one of the top players left on Purdue’s board. The Boiler staff is thought to be well-positioned for him.
