Commit Watch: Long list of targets favoring Kansas State

Commit Watch: Long list of targets favoring Kansas State

Which Kansas State targets are on the precipice of a decision? We take a look at some 2025 prospects about to take official visits to K-State.

Kansas State wide receiver target Adonis Moise

IMG Academy wide receiver Adonis Moise would be my leader in the clubhouse for the next Kansas State commit. There has been heavy mutual interest on both sides since he visited K-State in the spring. Moise even moved up his official visit from June 21st to June 7th. The Wildcats have a heavy lead coming into the weekend and Moise has no other official visits scheduled.

Offensive line target Lucas Allgeyer

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Lucas Allgeyer Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/lucas-allgeyer-177002/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

It also would not shock me if St. Louis offensive tackle Lucas Allgeyer were to commit on his official visit this weekend. Kansas State has held the lead for a long time and it could lead to his commitment. He is also close with quarterback commit Dillon Duff who will also be visiting. Iowa is the stiffest competition, but there has been some concern over Kirk Ferentz‘s longevity in Iowa City.

Edge rusher Dalton Knapp

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Dalton Knapp Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/dalton-knapp-162780/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

To be honest, not much is known about Grapevine, Texas defensive end Dalton Knapp‘s recruitment. However, K-State appears to be the team surging. The Wildcats offered the Texan last week after seeing him at the SMU mega camp. Knapp also plans to be at Boise State on June 13th for an official visit.

K-State safety target Leo Almanza

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Leo Almanza Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/leo-almanza-180311/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

According to sources, Kansas State could be entering the weekend with the lead for Trophy Club, Texas safety Leo Almanza. A strong official visit could lead to some potential fireworks for K-State. Almanza is also close with Duff. He will be at Texas Tech just before his time in Manhattan.

Safety target Jayden Bradley

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Jayden Bradley Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/jayden-bradley-241282/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

The recruitment of Jayden Bradley appears to be fast and furious. Like with Knapp, Bradley was offered at a mega camp, and quickly Kansas State has surged. If an official visit gets scheduled in the near future, I would not be shocked if fireworks ensued.

Linebacker Ashton Moore

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Ashton Moore Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/ashton-moore-243536/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

The younger brother of Austin Moore, Ashton Moore, was offered at the first camp of the summer for K-State. Being a legacy with strong ties to the Wildcats I would be shocked if Moore does not end up in the class. While no official visits are scheduled just yet, the linebacker could pop at any moment.

Kansas State wide receiver target Carterrious Brown

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Carterrious Brown Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/carterrious-brown-174033/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

Not much is known about the recruitment of Texas wide receiver Carterrious Brown just yet. Like Moise, though, he will take an official visit to Kansas State this weekend. Brown’s only other official visit is scheduled for June 14th to Colorado State. A strong official visit could put K-State in the driver’s seat.

Safety target Dominic Mitchell

<iframe class=”onthree-embed” title=”Dominic Mitchell Industry Comparison Embed” style=”max-width: 100%” frameborder=”0″ width=”600″ height=”200″ src=”https://embed.on3.com/db/dominic-mitchell-180626/industry-comparison/”></iframe>
<script async=”” src=”https://on3static.com/scripts/embed.js?v=3″ charset=”utf-8″></script>

The Wildcats are also the surging team for Phoenix safety Dominic Mitchell. After being offered by Kansas State at the first camp of the summer on May 30th, Mitchell already has plans to be back in Manhattan. He will be taking an official visit on June 14th. I believe he will wrap up his recruitment after the official visit.
