Penn State transfer RB London Montgomery announces commitment to East Carolina

Former Penn State running back London Montgomery will transfer to East Carolina for the upcoming season, he announced Saturday via Instagram. Montgomery was a true freshman this past year with the Nittany Lions and will have four years of eligibility remaining after redshirting.

As a recruit, Montgomery was a three-star prospect out of Scranton Prep (PA). He ranked as the No. 513 overall player and No. 36 running back in the 2023 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
