North Carolina WR Jerel Bolder is high on a trio of ACC programs

Marshville (N.C.) Forest Hills wide receiver Jerel Bolder has generated a lot of buzz in recent weeks due to his play at different events. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound three-star gets open, has great ball skills and knows how to score touchdowns.

His ability has schools like Georgia and Michigan on his offer list. Ohio State recently stopped by and invited him to camp early in the summer. All schools showing interest in Bolder are still being considered by him, but a trio of ACC schools are high on his list.

“Virginia, Duke and NC State are definitely some of my top schools,” Bolder told On3. “I have an official visit to Virginia on June 7, Duke on June 14 and NC State on June 21. All three schools show a lot of love, they recruit me hard and I have had good visits to each school.”

South Carolina is another school Bolder has his eye on, but if he makes a decision before his senior season, it could be to the Blue Devils, Wolfpack or Cavaliers.

“I would like to commit this summer, but if I feel I need to wait, then I will make my decision a little later. I am looking for a school that shows love, that needs me and somewhere that offers great academics. Relationships, academics and player development are things I see at Virginia, NC State and Duke.

“I love the new staff at Duke. They have great energy and I can’t wait to get back down there. Coach Joker Phillips is my guy at NC State. I love him and the staff there. Virginia might be recruiting me the hardest. The head coach, offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach are all engaged and make me feel important to them.”
