Michigan senior running back Donovan Edwards will be front an center on the cover of the new EA Sports College Football 2025 video game, with the company releasing the cover Friday. Edwards is featured prominently along with other college football standouts.

From The Wolverine’s Anthony Broome:

Edwards appearing on a cover of the game is poetic given the last time EA released a game, “NCAA Football 14,” it featured Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson. Edwards, who is expected to be the lead back for U-M this season, is coming off a six-carry, 104-yard performance with a pair of touchdowns in the College Football Playoff National Championship win over Washington.

New features in the game are expected to involve NIL and the transfer portal, the College Football Playoff and much more. One of the game’s iconic features, Dynasty Mode, is also expected to return where you can start at a small school and build a program into a juggernaut, or jump right into continuing to build the Michigan dynasty.

The EA Sports website currently reads: “Hello, college football fans! While Michigan fans may still be reveling in their championship win, just remember – if the confetti didn’t rain down on your team in January, you’ll soon be able to lead your school to glory when EA SPORTS College Football 25 launches this summer. Yeah, it’s really happening!

“We’re just as excited as you are for EA SPORTS College Football, and while we recognize all of you are eager for more, know that we will be back with a full reveal in May as we gear up for this summer’s launch.”

Quote Of The Day

“Definitely one of the best of the lines I’ve seen at the college level, maybe even the best right now. Just seeing their physicality and their technique is really good. Even if they’re one step off, their technique is what saved them. So, just seeing them, they’re just nasty. Obviously, you look at them, they look apart from other offensive lines. They’re a fit O-line. So, it’s good to see that.”
