Kentucky transfer wing Jordan Burks commits to Georgetown
Another former Kentucky Wildcat has found a home. According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Jordan Burks has committed to Georgetown. The 6’8″ 202 lbs. small forward entered the transfer portal on April 19. He will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Burks was a late addition to Kentucky’s 2023-24 roster, committing to John Calipari as a four-star prospect out of Overtime Elite. He was considered the No. 104 overall player in the 2023 class, according to On3’s Top-150 Player Rankings.
Burks played sparingly in his lone season in Lexington, appearing in 20 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per outing. His best game came against Vanderbilt, a 13-point, 5-rebound performance in Nashville in which he made all six of his field goals. He also recorded seven points and three rebounds in a win over New Mexico State.
Best of luck to Burks as he continues his career playing for Ed Cooley at Georgetown.
