Priority LB Tavion Wallace sets Florida official visit
After including Florida in his top five, 4-star linebacker Tavion Wallace has now scheduled his official visit with the Gators.
That trip is scheduled for June 14-16.
“I’m going the third weekend (in June),” Wallace told Gators Online on Tuesday.
Wallace recently hinted at switching out South Carolina for Florida, and with the Gamecocks no longer an option, the Gators have now secured that date.
Florida State, Georgia, LSU and Arkansas are the additional finalists for the Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County star.
The Seminoles are viewed as the heavy favorite.
“I wasn’t too high on Florida at first, but I have given them a chance, and they are coming up,” Wallace recently told On3. “They are recruiting me harder now. Me and my family grew up following Florida, so getting to Gainesville, meeting the people and seeing everything has moved them up my list.”
On3 Biography of Tavion Wallace
Tavion Wallace is the younger brother of Trevin Wallace, a former four-star recruit who starred at Kentucky before declaring for the NFL draft after his junior year.
“I learned a lot from my brother,” Wallace told On3’s Chad Simmons. “He’s talked to me a lot about paying attention to all the little things when it comes to being the best player I can be. Train hard. Work hard in academics. Be the best that I can be. It’s advice I’ve taken to heart and focus on every day.”
