Four-star interior offensive lineman Henry Fenuku will officially visit Ole Miss
North Crowley (Tex.) interior offensive lineman Henry Fenuku is set to make a return trip to Ole Miss. And this weekend will be in an official visit capacity. He recently tripped to Oxford, Miss., in February. Fenuku also has official visits set to SMU and Southern Cal.
The 6-4, 295-pound prospect is the nation’s No. 383-ranked prospect overall, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is the No. 31 interior offensive lineman and Texas’ No. 62 player.
Back in March, Fenuku told On3’s Chad Simmons there were three schools sticking out.
“Each school has their differences,” Fenuku told On3. “The programs are different and the relationships are different. But they all keep it real with me. Since the offer, they’ve been talking with me.”
The Lone Star State recruit said the Red Raiders and the Rebels showed him “a lot.”
“I’m looking to build a relationship with the coaches,” Fenuku said. “Academics are really important to me so I can get the chance to get my three years in. That’s what I’m looking for in a school. These visits are going to show me a lot and how the other schools are too.”
A decision could come soon after he concludes these official visits to his unofficial top three. Ole Miss gets the first go at it this weekend while he’s in town with five other official visitors.
Ole Miss recently hired SMU’s general manager Alex Brown.
The former Mustang staffer and well-known commodity in Texas recruiting is now in charge of Lane Kiffin‘s recruiting attack. He, alongside former Texas general manager Billy Glasscock, should be a big part of Fenuku’s weekend. Both recruited him to their former programs and will try to convince him to Come to the Sip.
Kevin Smith extended the offer to Fenuku in January and the Rebels have quickly prioritized him.
