2026 IOL Scottland Dover Looking to Attend Kentucky Camp after Receiving Offer
Scottland Dover had his first-ever conversation with Kentucky’s offensive line coach Eric Wolford last week. That talk was enough to earn him an offer.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound interior offensive lineman from Gaffney (Shelby, NC) told KSR+ that Wolford said he liked his film. Dover is impressed with Kentucky’s NFL pedigree.
“I know they’ve had 53 offensive linemen sign NFL contracts,” Dover said. “That shows they have elite O-Linemen play.”
Dover sees his versatility fitting in well on the Kentucky offensive line. He said Wolford wants him to camp at Kentucky over the summer.
“I want to see how practice is run,” he said. “Obviously, I want to ask him about how academics work and things of that nature.

Scottland Dover is already hearing from a wide range of schools, including South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Tennessee, Appalachian State, and Eastern Carolina. He’s also talked to Wofford, USC, and Duke.
“It almost feels unreal in a way,” Dover said. “I don’t know how to explain it. It just doesn’t feel real sometimes. Of course, you want to play D1 football, but once it starts getting closer and closer, the more it feels unreal.”
Dover visited South Carolina on Saturday, April 20. He doesn’t have any other confirmed visits.
“I want to find coaches who I know are going to push me,” he said. “Academics play a big part in it.”

2026 interior offensive lineman Scottland Dover of Shelby (NC) Gaffney is not currently ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Dover as the No. 34 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2026.
“I’m a very physical player,” Dover said.
Moving forward, Dover is looking to improve the “little things” in his game. He wants to be on a team that runs the ball often.
“I want to show the defensive line that we’re going to manhandle them the whole game,” he said.
