4-star OT Jonte Newman commits to Texas A&M Aggies

Cypress (Texas) Bridgeland four-star offensive tackle Jonte Newman has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies, he announced Friday evening.

“I loved everything about A&M,” Newman told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “They always show me mad love all the coaches make me feel special every time I’m there.”

Newman visited College Station last weekend.

Newman is the nation’s No. 359 overall prospect, No. 28 offensive tackle and No. 59 recruit from Texas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
