Kansas State visit impresses Georgia RB

Kansas State’s running back board in the 2025 class is impressive. K-State is in a good spot for Arkansas running back Monterrio Elston and Texas running back DJ Dugar has an official visit scheduled. Another Wildcat running back to keep in mind is Milton, Georgia native Amauri Anderson.

The Georgia native visited Kansas State for the first time on April 6th.

“The visit was great, I liked everything the coaches where cool and facilities looked nice,” Anderson began. “Practice was also good.”

A few moments in particular on the visit stood out to the junior.

“My favorite part was getting to talk to Coach [Brian] Anderson and also watching the practice,” he shared. “What stood out about the conversations with Coach Anderson was how he develops his running backs and what they work on every day.”

Anderson took a few notes from watching K-State practice.

“It was pretty good, good paced and a lot of good drills,” he pointed out. “[The running backs] were being coached by a good coach. They were all very explosive as well.”

The junior was also able to learn a few things about Kansas State on the visit.

“You need to have discipline, toughness and be selfless to succeed at the next level,” he noted.

A few schools have started to separate themselves in the Georgia natives recruitment.

“K-State, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Florida State [are standing out],” he revealed. “Just the coaches and the brotherhood at the schools have made them stand out. They all also are building something special.”

The junior does not have any official visits scheduled just yet. He is also wanting to take his time and does not have a commitment timeline in mind yet. However, he does know what he is looking for in a school he commits to.

“Just a program that sill develop me on and off the felid and somewhere that puts running backs in the league,” he concluded.
