Mailbag Podcast: Which positions are ‘championship level’ for Tennessee football?
With spring practice done and out of the way, what’s next for Tennessee football this offseason? What’s going on for Josh Heupel and staff on the recruiting trail and should we expect a big month of official visitors in June followed by commitments in July?
Will Tennessee baseball make the postseason and is there still a chance to host? Who handles the basketball early on for Rick Barnes’ club until Zakai Zeigler gets healthy? Will there be any more movement with Tennessee basketball?
Brent Hubbs, Rob Lewis, Eric Cain and Matt Ray answer these Tennessee questions and many more on this week’s edition of the Volquest Mailbag Podcast. It’s presented by Exterior Home Solutions. For a free estimate, give them a call at 865-524-5888.
Quote of the Pod on Tennessee
Brent Hubbs on what Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton does better than Hendon Hooker…
“Joe Milton has a better arm. It’s an arm that we haven’t seen in any of our time [covering Tennessee]. He can throw late and get away with it. I think that’s something that is a little bit unique and different than what Hendon Hooker can do. Joe is bigger in stature. Can he take a hit better? I don’t know. We will see. Hendon’s escapability was better and obviously Joe has got to go out and prove the production. I think from a physical standpoint, Joe can do anything he wants to with the exception of the escapability. I don’t think he has Hendon’s ability to make a play as easily Hendon did when things completely break down.”
