USC Officially Announces the Addition of Bronny James

USC announced the addition of Bronny James on Wednesday morning, officially welcoming the most well-known high school athlete in the country to the Trojan family.

James announced his commitment to USC this past Saturday in one of the most anticipated recruiting decisions in years.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard is the third high school commitment to sign with USC in this class, joining No. 1 overall recruit Isaiah Collier and four-star forward Arrinten Page. That group gives the Trojans the No. 4 class in the country and No. 2 recruiting class in the Pac-12 according to the On3 rankings.

James is the nation’s No. 11 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Rankings and the nation’s No. 23 overall recruit in the On3 Industry Rankings. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals during his senior season at Sierra Canyon High School. He was selected to both the 2023 McDonald’s All-American Team and to Team USA for the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit.

James played well at both events. He scored 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting from three-point range at the McDonald’s All-American Game. And he had 11 points and four rebounds in a 90-84 win for Team USA over Team World.
