Jonah-Ajonye Sees Summer Decision

Jonah-Ajonye Sees Summer Decision

CONROE, Texas – Oklahoma’s 2024 recruiting class has plenty of holes left to fill with just six commitments on the board. But there’s no position more important to the effort than the defensive line and one player they’ve put plenty of focus into is On3 top 100 defender Joseph Jonah-Ajonye.

The big man, who On3 ranks as the nation’s No. 38 prospect, has hit Norman twice this spring and left his Red-White game visit acknowledging the Sooners as the leader in his recruitment.

However, since then he’s been to Oregon as well as watching Georgia become more involved in his recruitment. In short, there’s plenty of race left to be run for a player who says he’d like to have his decision made on August 1.

SoonerScoop.com caught up with Jonah-Ajonye to talk about the Sooners, Ducks, Bulldogs, official visits, and discussion of his ‘dream school’.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine utilizes machine learning to forecast college choices, favors the Sooners heavily at 93.2-percent at this point in time. They are followed by Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Texas.
