Former Wildcat Tomiwa Durojaiye Visits Two Power Five Programs

Former Wildcat Tomiwa Durojaiye Visits Two Power Five Programs

The University of Colorado could become the second home for three former Kentucky football players. Boulder was one of the destinations for Tomiwa Durojaiye this weekend as the former Wildcat seeks out the second school of his college career.

Tomiwa Durojaiye entered the transfer portal on April 26 after spending only one season in Lexington. A 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman from Middletown, Delaware, Brad White was his primary recruiter. Ranked as a four-star prospect by On3, he enrolled last January. In three total semesters on campus Tomiwa played in three games as a redshirt freshman.

Durojaiye was well thought of by folks around the Kentucky football program and has physical traits that forecast a bright future. That’s why he is being pursued by multiple Power Five programs.

Last week Durojaiye officially visited Neal Brown’s program in Morgantown, West Virginia and made a visit to see what Coach Prime is working with at Colorado. The Buffs have hit the portal harder than any other school in FBS. Amid the coaching turnover Colorado has 39 transfer portal commitments and 59 total new players, two of which are former Wildcats, Vito Tisdale and Kavosiey Smoke.

Whether Tomiwa Durojaiye teams up with Neal Brown in the Big 12 or Coach Prime’s PAC-12 circus, he will have four years of eligibility remaining.
