Tweets Of The Day

On3’s Chad Simmons caught up with 2024 Michigan running back commit Jordan Marshall — the No. 91 overall player in the class — at his school, Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller. There, he’s teammates with Notre Dame cornerback pledge Karson Hobbs. The two talked some trash to each other, in a friendly manner, on a video Simmons posted.

Spent time at @MoellerFootball and it is home to Michigan RB commit Jordan Marshall and Notre Dame CB commit Karson Hobbs.

A Twitter account questioning whether or not former North Carolina guard and current Michigan transfer commit Caleb Love would ever suit up for the Maize and Blue was responded to by Love himself, who re-affirmed his commitment to the Wolverines. He originally announced his decision on April 7. Rumors on social media earlier in the day said that he may not play at U-M.

“Yes, I will play for Michigan next year! Stay tuned! Go Blue,” Love tweeted on Thursday night.

Love added in a later tweet: “Can y’all leave the rumors elsewhere please? It’s getting annoying.”

Quote Of The Day

“Michigan has done a really good job of locking down the state of Michigan and prioritizing the top guys in the state of Michigan. Obviously, winning battles for guys like Will Johnson and Semaj Morgan is paying dividends because those guys are influencers to the young guys in the city and the state. They’re like magnets reeling in other guys. On top of that, when kids get on campus, the first thing they do is talk to Will, Semaj and Makari (Paige). That helps more than anything else because the kids are doing the recruiting for the coaches.”
