Missouri standing out to 2025 WR Corey Simms early on

Missouri standing out to 2025 WR Corey Simms early on

Saint Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College 2025 wide receiver Corey Simms still has a long way to go in his recruitment and has several offers still to come.

One school that’s seen Simms potentially early on is the homestate Missouri Tigers. Missouri extended him an offer last June following a camp on campus becoming his first Power Five offer.

“Missouri’s been following me for a long time,” Simms told On3. “They didn’t get to see me until I went to the camp there and I showed out. I was blessed with that offer.

“I like the coaching staff. Coach (Jacob) Peeler makes it feel like home and we’ve got a great relationship.”

That early offer has Missouri as the firm favorite early on in Simms’ recruitment. The Tigers hold a commanding lead for him according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) sitting at 87.1%.

While Missouri may look like the favorite to land Simms’ commitment, other schools haven’t stopped coming after him. This April alone he’s taken visits to Nebraska and Kansas.

Simms said he enjoyed both visits and hoped to get back to each campus sometime soon.

Arkansas is another school that Simms has visited and enjoyed spending time at. The Razorbacks extended their offer to Simms back in January.

“I love the coaches there too,” Simms said. “At Arkansas, I felt at home. I had a long conversation with Coach (Sam) Pittman and I liked his personality. I like the offense they run and I just like them in general.”
