LSU in the mix for official visit from 4-star DL Caleb Moore

2024 Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove defensive lineman Caleb Moore enjoyed his LSU visit this past weekend. The Spring Game marked his second visit to Baton Rouge this spring.
“The visit was overall amazing,” Moore told On3. “I enjoyed the game and loved how the players competed throughout the whole game. The DL was physical. I liked how they got off the ball quick and messed up plays.”
Defensive coordinator Matt House and interim defensive line coach Gerald Chatman met with Moore on his visit, happy he was back at LSU.
“They basically said they were glad to see me up there and they asked about how football was down here in the Grove,” Moore said.
Mississippi State, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M are among the programs near the top of his list. He’s planning to get his official visits locked in soon and LSU is in contention for one of those.
He plans a summer decision and currently, LSU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine over Mississippi State.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Moore is the No. 372 overall prospect in the country, No. 32 defensive lineman in the nation and No. 14 prospect in Mississippi.
