Offensive lineman Chance Lytle, a Colorado transfer who played for Duke, proved that he is more than just a football player. He is also a phenomenal singer. That’s a skill that he was able to put on display in a now viral video.

On top of being a talented, FBS football player, Lytle is also a phenomenal singer. In particular, he is a phenomenal opera singer and he’s not afraid to show those skills off.

Watch Chance Lytle show off his insane talent, here:

An outstanding performance from someone who deserves recognition for his talent beyond the football field. It had to be a great feeling to have his teammates lose their minds for his performance.

A double-major in music and voice performance and psychology, it’s hard to imagine that Chance Lytle won’t have the ability to perform at a professional level with that kind of voice.

Lytle was a graduate student for Duke during the 2022 season and the video is from 2022. However, it did recently go viral, reminding everyone about his amazing talent. That same season, he started 13 games for Duke.

Prior to that, he spent 5 years in the Colorado football program. He started in four games there and played in 43 overall games at both schools. Chance Lytle was an All-Academic selection at both schools as well.

Kirk Herbstreit praised Duke coach Mike Elko

Following the 2022 season, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit praised Duke head coach Mike Elko following his first season in charge.

“Incredible effort by @DukeFOOTBALL this year!!” tweeted Herbstreit. “Mike Elko is his 1st year- ACC coach of the year and now 9 wins!! Look out for the Dukies in 2023! Congrats fellas!!”

When Elko took over the Blue Devils, Duke was seen as a major rebuilding job and little was expected in his first season there. Elko figured things out quickly, though. Duke went 9-4 on the season and easily beat UCF to win the Military Bowl. Along the way, the Blue Devils went 5-3 in ACC play, with wins over teams like Miami and Virginia Tech.

Now, Elko and Duke are going to enter the 2023 season with much higher expectations. Living up to those won’t be easy However, to this point, Elko and the Blue Devils have proved that they’re able to do that.
