WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We’ve started to take a closer look at some of the guys that signed with Miami and weren’t on the roster this spring – ie summer arrivals. So don’t miss our updates with DT Joshua Horton, OL Frankie Tinilau and LB Marcellius Pulliam.
We also have your continuation of position post-spring analysis items, with the receivers, tight ends and offensive line broken down.
Plus get a sense of what the Miami fan base is thinking regarding the football team, with Jim Martz talking with fans about their expectations.
In recruiting?
We had a look at the big board and remaining targets and broke down our five Hurricanes targets whose Miami interest rose this spring.
And there were continued updates off visitors to the spring game. Attending was Fairfield (Calif.) Armijo four-star defensive lineman Jericho Johnson. He made his first trip to South Florida for the game and raved about his time there.
Plus Hialeah (Fla.) Westland four-star 2024 cornerback Jamari Howard has been committed to Michigan State since September, but that hasn’t stopped Miami from pushing for the No. 50 prospect in the On300. He was at the spring game and updates his status.
We also have an update with Miami (Fla.) Dr. Michael M. Krop High School DB Kal-El Pascal. He has begun to pick up interest and offers from a handful of Power Five programs. So where do the Miami Hurricanes stand?
And with over 30 offers Washington (D.C.) St. Vincent Pallotti linebacker Gabriel Williams is one of the most sought-after defensive prospects in the country, and the Miami Hurricanes became one of the latest programs to offer the four-star linebacker. He shares his take.
Don’t miss our analysis of five potential flip candidates for Miami as well. And in the transfer portal we have an update on why Florida WR Xzavier Henderson might make sense for the Canes.
Plus there’s recaps of the 17th ranked baseball team’s weekend series vs. Georgia Tech, with Miami taking two of three.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
For Those With The Memory of a Goldfish … Posted by Nickk10
Thought we should take a trip down memory lane because its clear some of y’alls memories are shot.
Our first commits last year:
Tripp – 3 Star
Bobby – 3 star (was bumped to a 4 star. Hmmmmm almost like that could happen this year too)
Robby – 4 star
Tinilau – Not rated at the time
Emory – Not rated or low 3 star
Reid – 3 star.
Then June came around and we landed SIXTEEN 4 and 5 star players. This panic and real or fake outrage is ridiculous and unwarranted. I’m as big of a star wh*re as the next. I think recruiting rankings do matter to a certain extent, but what more does Mario need to prove to you all when it comes to recruiting? He left A LOT to be desired on the field, but he’ll land a top 10 class every year here. Lets please not do this every effing year. This year is very similar to last years start. Just sit back and enjoy recruiting. Kids haven’t even started to take officials yet and y’all acting like Mario fell off. A JOKE!
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“It’s going well with the Miami workout plan, but even before they sent the plan I was lifting every day. I work out, handle my academics, after that it’s track. Hard work and dedication comes with this game, I have to stand by it.”
LB signee Marcellius Pulliam, who wakes up every day at 4:30 a.m. to work out in preparation for his Miami arrival
