Notre Dame 2024 verbal commits schedule their June official visits

Nine of Notre Dame’s 10 commits have locked in their June official visits plans. And this year, the Irish are spreading them out across three weekends.

Last recruiting cycle, the 2023 recruits verbally committed to Notre Dame before June visited the second weekend in June, while tight end Cooper Flanagan and defensive lineman Brenan Vernon visited the third weekend.

This recruiting cycle, the Fighting Irish will have its defensive commits on campus for official visits from June 9-11. And the offensive commits will be in South Bend from June 16-18. Two Irish commits will also officially visit from 2-4.

Here’s the complete breakdown.

June 2-4

Notre Dame’s two offensive line commits will be in town for official visits from June 2-4. Four-star recruits Anthonie Knapp and Peter Jones will make their respective third and sixth Irish visits then.

The On3 Industry Ranking — a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services — evaluates Knapp as the No. 343 overall player, No. 26 interior offensive lineman and No. 41 prospect in Georgia.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Knapp is Notre Dame’s most recent pledge, announcing his verbal on March 29. He attends Roswell (Ga.) High.

The 6-5, 285-pound Jones, a junior at Malvern (Pa.) Prep, is the No. 299 overall player, No. 24 interior offensive lineman and No. 5 prospect in Pennsylvania, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

2024 four-star running back target Kedren Young from Lufkin (Texas) High will also be on his official visit that weekend.

June 9-11

Three-star cornerback commits Karson Hobbs (6-1, 180) and Leonard Moore (6-2, 275) will be in South Bend for their officials from June 9-11.

Hobbs, a junior at Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller, is the No. 472 overall player, No. 53 cornerback and No. 15 player in Ohio per the On3 Industry Ranking

Round Rock (Texas) High’s Moore checks in at No. 406 overall, No. 41 cornerback and No. 68 player in Texas.

Princeton (N.J.) New Jersey Hun School defensive tackle Owen Wafle will also be back in town this weekend. The 6-2, 267-pound Wafle is a three-star recruit and the No. 403 overall player, No. 36 defensive lineman and No. 7 prospect in New Jersey per the On3 Industry Ranking.

Due to a scheduling conflict the next weekend, four-star wide receiver Cam Williams is also returning to Notre Dame for his official visit from June 9-11.

The 6-2, 180-pound Williams is the No. 34 player, No. 10 wide receiver and No. 2 player in Illinois. He attends Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South.

Four-star EDGE target Jaylen Harvey and Elijah Rushing, three-star linebacker target Cole Sullivan and four-star running back target Anthony Carrie will also officially visit Notre Dame that weekend.

Notre Dame’s most recent commit, three-star vyper Cole Mullins has not confirmed his official visit date with Blue & Gold. However, it makes sense for him to be back on campus from June 9-11. On3 ranks the Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek product as the No. 77 linebacker and No. 81 player in Georgia.

June 16-18

Saline (Mich.) High quarterback CJ Carr is officially visiting Notre Dame from June 16-18. Hannibal (Mo.) High running back Aneyas Williams and Charlotte (N.C.) Catholic tight end Jack Larsen will be joining him.

The 6-2 1/2, 195-pound Carr will also be in town from June 9-11 on an unofficial visit to assist with Notre Dame’s defensive recruiting efforts and grow his relationship with Cam Williams. The On3 Industry Ranking evaluates Carr as the No. 47 player, No. 5 quarterback and No. 1 player in Michigan.

Aneyas (5-10, 195) is the 196 overall player, No. 14 running back and No. 6 prospect in Missouri, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Larsen (6-3, 212) is the No. 305 overall player, No. 18 tight end and No. 9 player in North Carolina.

Carr, Aneyas and Larsen are four-star prospects.

Blue & Gold has also confirmed that four-star linebacker target Aaron Chiles and three-star EDGE target Anelu Lafaele are officially visiting Notre Dame from June 16-18 weekend.
