4-star WR Chance Robinson commits to Miami Hurricanes

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson announced that he has committed to the Miami Hurricanes.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder is the No. 131 overall prospect and No. 23 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 18 player in Florida.

Robinson has been a frequent visitor in Coral Gables visiting the Hurricanes six times including twice in April.

“It was important for me to get down here again because the coaches are always showing love,” Robinson told CaneSport following the April 9 visit. “It’s always important to get somewhere where you are loved at.”

Chance Robinson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $101K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Robinson becomes Miami’s first 2024 four-star commit

Landing a commitment from Robinson was a massive win for Mario Cristobal and co. as they begin to build their 2024 class.

Prior to his commitment, the Hurricanes only held commitments from Gray (Ga.) Jones County three-star quarterback Judd Anderson and Shreveport (La.) C.E. Byrd kicker Abram Murray.

Robinson’s commitment also propelled the Hurricanes class from unranked to the No. 43 class in the country and the No. 11 class in the ACC.
