DeJean open to role on offense?

Iowa fans on social media have been longing for seeing Cooper DeJean on the offensive side of the ball. The junior defensive back is always starting at cornerback, open to play Cash or safety, and returning punts. Is he ready to add a limited role on offense? The short answer is yes, he’s ready, willing, and able.

DeJean talks about how he has developed a very strong bond with new Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara and how they compete against each other each day in spring practice and how they have become good friends off the field. He also talks about the defensive point battle in spring ball and how he is leading at this point, but facing a strong push from Xavier Nwankpa.
