Air Noland commitment ceremony live updates

Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland will announce his commitment on Saturday, April 8 at 8:45pm ET. Noland will pick among his final seven schools: Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M.

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons believes one team is starting to trend for Noland heading into commitment day.

“In what I’m hearing late, I like where Ohio State is at,” Simmons said. “The quarterback development under Ryan Day and Corey Dennis the quarterbacks coach, the offensive scheme, the players he gets to play around, that all appeals to him. And he also has his buddy and former high school teammate, Jelani Thurman, there as well. The offer and visit last week was just kind of formality.”

Noland is the No. 111 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 10 quarterback and the No. 20 recruit in Georgia.

On3, however, is higher on him than the other recruiting services, as shown in the Industry Comparison. In the most recent On300 rankings, he was tabbed as the nation’s No. 45 prospect, No. 4 quarterback and No. 8 player in Georgia.

6:37 p.m. – Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas A&M hats are set on the table alongside a football and Noland’s jersey. Noland’s teammates are starting to arrive as well.

6:35 p.m. – Air Noland has arrived. Balloons and chairs are set up and everything in the gym is black and white.
