Marvin Harrison Jr.’s ankle is ‘ready to go,’ vs. Maryland, per Ryan Day

Marvin Harrison Jr.‘s status for Ohio State’s matchup against Maryland this weekend has been revealed, according to head coach Ryan Day.

“[He’s] ready to go,” Day confirmed.

Leading up to Saturday, Harrison said he’s “good enough” to play against the Terrapins, which Day reiterated later in the week by saying that his ankle looks good, and that his star wideout had a strong week of practice.

Harrison injured his ankle on a play in which he helped set up a key block for running back TreVeyon Henderson. The block ended up helping Henderson erupt for a 61-yard touchdown run.

Henderson, on the other hand, is sidelined for this weekend, though the cause has not been revealed. The Buckeyes tailback missed a solid chunk of the 2022 season with injuries.
