Get to know Iowa QB Deacon Hill

Deacon Hill is now the starting quarterback for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The transfer from Wisconsin arrived in January and moved into the backup quarterback role behind Cade McNamara. Now he’s out of the season with a torn ACL, Hill is at the top of the depth chart.

Iowa fans are interested in getting to know their new quarterback. His sister was an Olympic water polo player. He had to change his youth football team because he was too big, and he had to really adjust to the cold weather as a native of Santa Barbara. Get to know the new Iowa quarterback.
