Newsstand: Notre Dame QB commit Deuce Knight publicly recruiting for the Irish
Lucedale (Miss.) George County quarterback Deuce Knight has embraced his role as the face of Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class since the moment he committed to the Irish Sept. 18.
On Monday evening, he tweeted out a photo asking the question, “Who’s next?” Of course, he meant this regarding other class of 2025 recruits linking up with him in South Bend.
He followed that up with a tweet, tagging six other 2025 prospects, asking, “What y’all boys waiting on?” Geneva (Ill.) Community wide receiver Talyn Taylor, Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School safety Ethan Long, Atlanta Woodward Academy wide receiver Jerome Bettis Jr., Las Vegas Bishop Gorman wide receiver Derek Meadows, Indianapolis Ben Davis cornerback Mark Zackery and Winston-Salam (N.C.) Mount Tabor safety JaDon Blair are the prospects he tagged in the tweet.
Knight and each of those recruits were on campus together for the Ohio State vs. Notre Dame game Sept. 23, except for Meadows, who is expected to visit later this month.
The 6-4.5, 180-pound Knight ranks as the No. 39 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback according to the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.
