Tony Cumberland Details Early Commitment, Plans to Reclassify
Oregon got its first 2026 pledge this week – and he’s elite.
Tony Cumberland of Desert Mountain High in Scottsdale (Ariz.) Is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive lineman ranked as the nation’s No. 22 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking – and even higher by 247Sports at No. 11. Cumberland made the early commitment over the weekend after an unofficial visit for the Oregon-Colorado game.
He explained his decision to ScoopDuck and detailed what happens next.
“I think I’m going back (to Eugene) for the USC game,” he said.
