Louisiana OL Jalan Chapman enjoys amazing LSU visit

2026 New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton offensive lineman Jalan Chapman is fresh off an LSU visit, taking in the win over Arkansas in Tiger Stadium. The game impressed him as he watched the Tigers win off a last-second field goal.

“It was amazing for sure,” Chapman told On3. “I saw resilience, leadership and playmakers. I saw toughness and seeing them (the offensive line) get real grimey and get out the mud on them run plays. Just gave me an adrenaline rush.”

LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis and associate head coach Frank Wilson both chatted with the 6-2, 265-pound prospect about things outside of football, which makes him feel comfortable.

“They jus make me feel a part of the family and at home every time I visit,” Chapman said.

Up next for the sophomore is a trip to Alabama on Oct. 21 for the Crimson Tide’s matchup against Tennessee. Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Oregon are the teams he’s talking with the most right now.

In-state LSU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine for Chapman, who’s trending to be one of the state’s top overall prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. He also holds offers from Arkansas, Marshall, Tulane, Tennessee and numerous others.

Chapman also camped at LSU this summer and was in town for the Bayou Splash at the end of July.
